A native of Campinas, Brazil, Aline will graduate next year with a Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism from the Federal University of Sao Carlos, where she has already gained tremendous experience with the sales and marketing of international destinations in the Brazilian market. In her college program, she is part of a student-run junior company, which has helped to advance destination marketing in several areas of Brazil.
As ITI's tourism marketing intern, Aline will apply her knowledge, creativity and talent on multi-channel marketing campaigns as well as social media campaigns. She will be responsible for development of graphics and info-graphics, contributing content to eNewsletters and online platforms such as Vacations2Discover.
Inspired by her mother, an English teacher, Aline likes to bring a component of education into all of her endeavors and considers travel marketing an opportunity to educate others. She strives to demonstrate the relevance of tourism as a development tool for cities, states and countries. She is fluent in Portuguese, speaks English and also has a working knowledge of Spanish.
